Farmer's Market

I finally bought the ripest and most juiciest peaches in all of Georgia in a farmer's market. I also got a freshly baked ciabatta and a delectable pimento cheese sandwich.

So I went to Bermuda during this summer and had an awesome, beyond awesome time. Good company, good food, good weather. Just breathtaking.

Sweet Sunday

"Pat bing su," a Korean shaved ice dessert, is delicious and super easy to make. All you have to do is shave the ice with a machine, add sweet red bean, fruits, mochi, syrup, ice cream, and anything else you'd like.

This bowl is actually a large mixing bowl... so it's huge!

nom nom nom - close up!

BentoCafe

My friend loves BentoCafe and we both enjoy the bento original, "chop". It's pork and it comes with rice and two sides. I like their sweet corn and steamed broccoli. It's A LOT to eat, but it's so good. Definitely a favorite.

Korean Style Chinese Food

There is typically Chinese take-out and legit Chinese, but I love my Korean-inspired Chinese food. Especially "tang su yuk," a deep-fried pork with sweet sauce, and "jjam bbong," a spicy noodle with seafood. My favorite of favorites is "jajangmyeon," a dish of noodles with black bean sauce. It's really great to eat it with "danmuji," pickled daikon.

Sweet Sunday

I love munching on a Korean treat called "boong uh bbang". This treat is in the shape of a carp and is traditionally filled with sweet red bean paste, but recently the place I go to offer chocolate as well. This treat is commonly shared between a parent and child. Usually the parent would split the carp, give the body half to the child and keep the tail end. This is because the body has more of the filling and good ol' parents are willing to eat regular bread ends to see their kids smile with the sweet filling.

:)

Canton House

Canton House is my go-to dimsum place. My housemate and I used to go there after we volunteered at a nearby community center. Because we volunteered for a whole semester, the waitress got to know us very well. We love everything there. If there is something I don't particularly like, my friend liked it, and vice versa. Haha we have to control ourselves when we go.

Patriotic House Dinner

This was actually a dinner for this past fourth of July for myself and my housemates. We had fried chicken, turkey burgers with swiss, turkey dogs, potato salad, coleslaw, watermelon, and good drinks. It was a good ol' family dinner. It was awesome!~

Sweet Sunday

SunO is a dessert place in Georgia. It's shaved frozen condensed milk with other ingredients to make it tastier. They can put fruits, syrups, cookies, and such into the dessert.

I don't remember what this one is called, but it has oreos and sprinkles

Mango Tango (kiwi, mango, and lychee jelly)

Two Hawaiians (I think I got a 2 for 1 special lol)

Honey Pig

Atlanta has a great multitude of cultural eateries and they definitely have some great Korean places. There is a restaurant called Honey Pig that serves samgyupsal, pork belly in Korean. (Think bacon, just thicker.) It's great to grill it with kimchi, garlic, and bean sprouts. The kimchi which is fermented and seasoned cabbage flavors the meat as it cooks. It's definitely something to try!

The thinly sliced raw meat

Bean sprouts in the back, meat in the middle, and kimchi in the front :)

Pulled Pork and Potato

Kentucky is definitely not all about their fried chicken. At the airport, there was a restaurant that had some mean pulled pork. The fries look regular but they were so crispy yet soft. yummmmm.
