Awhile back, some friends and I made simple and delectable chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. So simple, so good.

Sushi
Kimbap is a type of korean sushi, but does not usually have any raw meat in it. Regular japanese sushi has raw fish and other ingredients. I decided to make my own to see if I could...aka first time. :) I think they turned out quite well. The kimbap was great and I even did a simple tuna roll!
I think cutting was actually the hardest part lol
:)
complete korean wifey status haha

Disney
On one of the tours for Disney, they show you how they grow some of their fresh produce. I seriously wish I had a greenhouse like theirs, then I would never have to buy fruits and vegetables.
I love the random one on the bottom.
so many bananas!
I don't understand how they haven't fallen off yet...
HUGE!

Sweet Sunday
This is my first time making this sort of cake, so it looks a little off. It's an asian-styled pastry cake with fruit toppings and fillings. The cake itself is a traditional sponge cake with "ssaeng" cream (koreans call it "fresh cream"). What makes it different from other frostings is that it's very, very light. YUM!~

Cafe Mims
It's definitely ideal to grab a muffin and drink for brunch and enjoy it outside on the cafe's porch. It's even better when that muffin has white chocolate and raspberries inside and looks like this:

MoMA food
Rigatoni at Cafe 2 in the MoMA. It's made with egg pasta, braised pork sausage, tomato sauce, and parmigiano. Quite delectable after hours of walking around the galleries.

Chocolate King
Max Brenner is a great place for desserts. I love the ambience, the people, and digging into warm chocolate gooeyness on a cold day. It's definitely July, but I had gone back to the city this past winter and remembered its oh-so-good endorphins.
self explanatory :)
the flash was weird, but it was so good~

Shake It
Two words: Shake. Shack.
People think it's hyped up but it is beyond awesome. Everything from their iconic burgers and fries down to their desserts. When I went, there was a line wrapping around the park. And yeah, it's SO worth it.

Sweet Sunday
Sundays should be sweet because Mondays are scary.
I baked a chocolate chip banana loaf, chocolate chip cookies, and a lemon loaf for my parents some time ago. It looks like the chocochip banana loaf is burnt but its just the chips! The cookies have this "straight from the batter" look that my mom likes, but I prefer them a little smoother. I really like how the lemon loaf turned out. Something about the crack on top of the loaf, when it expands in the oven, is so satisfying. (the glaze helps too).
